Change one thing. Test once.

A controlled retry makes the cause easier to see. Work through the section that matches the feature that stopped.

Lessons & programs

Return to the setup and pass criterion

Open the exact lesson or program day, prepare the listed rewards and tools, and try once in a quieter place.

If the skill is already easy, continue on the roadmap. If one recurring problem is the issue, open its focused 14-day program.

AI coach

Check connection, consent, and question length

Confirm a stable connection and review Settings → AI Processing. Then retry once with one concrete question about the current skill or situation.

Repeated rapid requests can hit a temporary service or usage limit.

Review AI processing consent →
DogPath Pro

Restore with the purchasing Apple Account

Open Premium management and choose Restore Purchases while using the same Apple Account that completed the transaction.

Apple manages prices, renewals, cancellations, eligibility, and payment records.

Progress & account

Note whether the app or device changed

Tell support whether DogPath was reinstalled, app data was cleared, the device changed, or an account was deleted. Progress may be stored locally unless a feature says otherwise.

Still stuck?

Send the smallest useful support note.

Include DogPath, device model, iOS version, app version, affected feature, exact visible message, and the one retry you completed. Never send a password, verification code, complete receipt, or payment credentials.

Accounts, purchases & data

Know which part belongs to DogPath, your device, or Apple.

The fastest support route depends on who controls the setting. DogPath manages the product experience, iOS manages device permissions, and Apple manages App Store transactions.

Account access

Identify how you entered the app

DogPath can use an anonymous service identifier for core features and usage limits. Apple, Google, and email sign-in are optional account methods where offered.

When access looks different, note whether you reinstalled the app, changed devices, selected another sign-in method, or deleted an account. Never send support a password or verification code.

Subscriptions

Apple controls the transaction record

Use the same Apple Account that completed the original purchase, then choose Restore Purchases from DogPath’s Premium area. A successful restore depends on Apple’s receipt and the active product entitlement.

Manage renewals, cancellation, billing history, and refund requests through Apple. Prices and eligibility can vary by storefront and are displayed before confirmation.

Device permissions

Enable access only for the feature you intend to use

Photo or camera access supports features that ask you to choose or capture an image. Microphone access is used only by a feature that needs audio input. Precise location supports an active walk you choose to track.

Review permissions in iOS Settings. If a feature fails after access was denied, change that single permission and retry once rather than enabling unrelated access.

Review permission purposes →
Deletion & retention

Delete through settings or contact support

Use the account deletion control inside DogPath when available. If you cannot access the app, contact Rocket Digital, name DogPath, and provide only enough information to locate the relevant account route.

Deleting an app, deleting an account, and cancelling an Apple subscription are different actions. Complete each one that applies to your situation.

Training & safety boundaries

Product help can explain the plan. It cannot assess the whole dog.

DogPath supports everyday reward-first practice. Use the route below when the issue is not a software problem but a training, medical, or safety concern.

Ordinary training question

Lower difficulty and review the criterion

Move to a quieter setup, improve the reward, and repeat the last reliable step. Ask the AI coach one concrete planning question if the next adjustment is unclear.

Use the related guide when you need deeper context about leash walking, recall, barking, alone time, potty routines, greetings, or training tools.

Health or sudden change

Start with a veterinarian

Pain, movement changes, appetite or toileting changes, disrupted sleep, sudden sensitivity, or abrupt loss of learned behavior can have medical causes.

An app response cannot examine the dog or rule out illness. Keep a concise timeline and seek veterinary guidance.

Fear, panic, aggression, or bite risk

Use qualified real-world assessment

Create distance, prevent access, and stop testing the behavior. A qualified professional can observe body language, environment, triggers, handling, and safety in context.

DogPath can support foundation practice around that work, but it is not an emergency service or individualized safety plan.

Immediate danger

Use local emergency, veterinary, or animal-welfare resources.

Do not wait for an app reply or routine product-support response when a person or animal may be in immediate danger. Secure distance if you can do so safely and contact the appropriate local service.

Good to know

Common support questions

A lesson feels too hard. What should I do?

Lower distraction and repeat the current step with better rewards. Stay there until the pass criterion is reliable, then raise only distance, duration, or distraction—not all three at once.

Why did my AI coach request fail?

Check your connection, confirm AI coach processing permission is active under Settings → AI Processing, and retry once with a shorter question. Temporary service or usage limits can also affect a reply.

How do I restore DogPath Pro?

Open DogPath’s Premium management area and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that completed the original App Store purchase.

How do I delete my account?

Open the account settings in DogPath and choose Delete account. If you cannot access the app, contact Rocket Digital and identify DogPath in the request.

Does walk tracking run in the background all day?

No. Precise location is used for a walk only when you choose to start active walk tracking. You can review or change location access in iOS Settings.

My lesson progress looks different after reinstalling. Why?

Some app state may be stored on the device unless a feature explicitly synchronizes it. Tell support whether you reinstalled DogPath, cleared app data, changed devices, signed in differently, or deleted an account so the storage path is clear.

Can support cancel or refund an App Store subscription?

Apple manages App Store billing, renewals, cancellations, eligibility, and refund requests. DogPath can explain where to find purchase management, but it cannot directly alter Apple’s payment record.

What information should I include with a bug report?

Include your device model, iOS version, DogPath version, affected screen, exact visible message, the action immediately before it, and whether one controlled retry worked. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots.

Can support diagnose my dog’s behavior?

No. Product support can explain how DogPath works. It cannot diagnose medical or behavior conditions, assess aggression or bite risk, or replace a veterinarian or qualified behavior professional.

Where do I change photo, microphone, or location access?

Open iOS Settings, find DogPath, and review the available permissions. A feature may not work when its required permission is disabled; enable only the access you intend to use.

A report support can act on

Describe the smallest sequence that reproduces the problem.

A precise report is faster to investigate and safer to share. Explain the product state and visible result without attaching unrelated account, payment, location, or personal information.

Step 1 · Context

Name the device and exact feature

Include iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, DogPath version, and whether the issue affects Today, Explore, Coach, Tracker, a lesson, a program, or Premium management.

Say whether the device, installation, sign-in method, network, or relevant iOS permission changed shortly before the problem appeared.

Step 2 · Reproduction

List the actions in order

Write a short sequence such as: open Tracker, start an active walk, lock the screen, reopen DogPath, then observe the message. Avoid broad summaries such as “tracking never works.”

If the issue is intermittent, note how often it occurred and what was different in the successful attempt.

Step 3 · Result

Copy the visible message exactly

Include what you expected, what happened instead, and the exact text shown. A cropped screenshot can help when it contains only the relevant screen.

Remove names, email addresses, map details, dog photos, receipts, notifications, and other content that support does not need.

Step 4 · Safe retry

Say which single check you completed

Mention whether you checked the connection, reviewed the one relevant permission, reopened the feature, restored purchases, or retried once with a shorter coach question.

Do not repeatedly submit AI requests, reinstall the app, delete an account, or erase local data unless the support path specifically requires it.

Never include

Passwords, verification codes, full receipts, or payment credentials.

Support should not need those secrets to understand a DogPath issue. If a message asks for sensitive credentials or payment details, do not provide them through an ordinary support request.
